GP14 - Hull Specification
The Boon Boats GP14 is now complete, Update March 2011
The all new boat will be on display this coming weekend at the Alexander Palace dinghy show in London.
The new boat is a culmination of a considerable amount of research and development and has incorporated within it a few firsts for the class. Come along and see the boat on the Association stand.
Foils
We recently commissioned alloy tooling to be CNC Machined from high grade alloy tooling plate for producing high quality epoxy foils for the completed boat as we have for our Solo. Read more.
The cad files for these foils have been optimized fully to produce the best foil possible within the current class rules. These highly polished mould tools will provide unrivalled symmetry, stiffness and production consistency along with a tough durable foil.
Rudder Stock
A brand new Alloy rudderstock is also been developed to complement the new foils and will be fitted to all our new GP14s.
Our first production boat will be on display at the Dinghy Show in March 2011, come and see us.
