New Boon FRP Phantom - Fit Out

After consulting with Jim Hunt 2008 Phantom National Champion and Charlie Cumbley 2009 Phantom National Champion, great consideration was given to the overall layout and design of the thwart and final fit out of the completed hull, resulting in a package where all controls fall easily to hand. All control lines are continuously spliced and are fed through the bridge moulding purposely designed with continuous lines in mind.  This results in and endless system that provides the advantage of never reaching the end of the control line, which at some point everyone does when using ended lines.  Each line is laid out on the side deck with plastic rings hand spliced onto

short strops, placing each line easily to hand. Note the separation of the rig controls from the sail controls.
